The bookmakers are backing Tyson Fury to win the first of two scheduled world heavyweight title fights with Anthony Joshua in 2021.

It is the bout that fans have been craving for in recent years, only for the events of 2020 to put plans on hold, but promoter Eddie Hearn has now confirmed that domestic rivals Fury and Joshua will meet for all of the marbles at least twice in 2021.

“All parties have now put pen to paper and we will be working hard over the next few weeks to confirm the site and date for the biggest fight in boxing,” Hearn told Sky Sports on Monday.

The two-fight deal means that the loser of the contest will get an immediate chance to regain the world title(s) they lost in the initial fight, and it has been revealed that after splitting the purse down the middle for fight one, the winner will get the bigger share for the rematch.

So who will be the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world after the first meeting and take 60% of the purse for the rematch?

According to the bookmakers it will by Fury.

Fury is the 8/15 favourite in the Bout Betting with Coral, although at 6/4 the bookmaker is not ruling out the chances of Joshua becoming the first British heavyweight to hold all of the gold since Lennox Lewis.

"The fight that we all want to see is on, at last, and we think that Fury holds all the aces," Coral's Harry Aitkenhead told FreeTips.com. "We make it odds on that he defeats Anthony Joshua in one of the biggest fights British boxing will of ever seen before.

"Joshua is the outsider in the betting at 6/4 for punters who think he will triumph, whilst with a second fight already agreed you can't rule out the draw at 22/1."
