2022 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle Entries

Topping the market we find Minella Crooner, who stayed on to finish second in the Nathaniel Lacy at the Dublin Racing Festival. Minella Cocooner won that Grade One and could also head for the Albert Bartlett, but it seems like Willie Mullins is favouring the Ballymore.

Henry Daly's Hillcrest has joined Minella Crooner at the head of the betting in recent weeks. Gordon Elliott could also run Hollow Games, while Willie Mullins looks likely to throw The Nice Guy, Ramillies and Classic Getaway into this three-miler.

Shantreusse and Bardenstown Lad could bolster the Irish challenge on day four of the Cheltenham Festival. Archie Watson's Leamington winner, Stag Horn could also step up to three miles for the first time at Cheltenham.

Ginto and Journey With Me feature prominently in the betting, but both have been pointed at the Ballymore. Likely Albert Bartlett runners include Chester Cup winner Falcon Eight, Dan Skelton's Ballygriffincottage, Joseph O'Brien's Grade Two winner Eric Bloodaxe, and Noel Meade's Idas Boy.
