Al Boum Photo favourite in latest Cheltenham Gold Cup odds

Friday's Cheltenham Gold Cup will spark a £30million betting bonanza across the industry in the United Kingdom and Ireland on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival, according to Ladbrokes.

Apart from the Grand National, the Gold Cup is the biggest betting race of the entire calendar year.

On Thursday with just 24 hours to go until the 2020 Gold Cup, Al Boum Photo is the 7/2 favourite to defend his crown, ahead of Santini and Delta Work at 4/1 and 5/1 respectively.

Ladbrokes say Lostintranslation is the worst result in the book right now, however, with plenty of support for Colin Tizzard's 13/2 shot.

Ladbrokes spokesperson Nicola McGeady told FreeTips.com: "The Gold Cup is the pinnacle of the Festival, with a staggering amount of money set to be gambled across the nation. With £/€30 million betting bonanza on the cards, we could be in for a record-breaking year."

2020 Cheltenham Gold Cup odds: 7/2 Al Boum Photo, 4/1 Santini, 5/1 Delta Work, 13/2 Lostintranslation, 8/1 Clan Des Obeaux, 8/1 Kemboy, 10/1 Presenting Percy, 25/1 bar.
