2024 Martin Pipe Entries

Willie Mullins' Sa Majeste is the early favourite for the Martin Pipe, but may have to head for the Coral Cup if the British handicapper hands him a mark higher than 145. Quai De Bourbon would replace Sa Majeste as the favourite, and could be joined in the field by stablemates Lisnagar Fortune, Lombron and Ocastle Des Mottes.

Gordon Elliott, who loves to target the Martin Pipe, has entered Better Days Ahead, Stellar Story, Cleatus Poolaw, Jigoro and Search For Glory. Terence O'Brien's Answer To Kayf, Built By Ballymore for Martin Brassil, Gavin Cromwell's Encanto Bruno and Henry De Bromhead's Waterford Whispers could also fly the flag for Ireland.

Nicky Henderson has last year's runner-up No Ordinary Joe, along with Doddiethegreat, Lucky Place and Walking On Air. Defending Coral Cup champion, Langer Dan has been entered by Dan Skelton. Paul Nicholls' could be represented by Sonigino.

Other possible runners in the finale on day four of the Cheltenham Festival include Olly Murphy's Go Dante, Lump Sum for Sam Thomas, Jonjo O'Neill's Petit Tonnerre and another Dan Skelton runner, Nurse Susan
