Gold Cup day at Cheltenham begins with the Triumph Hurdle. Willie Mullins trained the first five runners past the post in last year's renewal, but it's Nicky Henderson's top juvenile who currently dominates the market.

Here's the latest Triumph Hurdle betting and a look at the most likely runners.

2024 Triumph Hurdle Entries

Sir Gino claimed an easy victory on his first start on British soil at Kempton over Christmas. Henderson's star then thrashed the then Triumph Hurdle favourite, Burdett Road in the Triumph Trial on Trials Day, after which Sir Gino was cut into odds-on favouritism for this Grade One.

Willie Mullins will be represented by top French mare Kargese, who ran out a convincing winner of the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival. Beaten Spring Juvenile Hurdle favourite, Storm Heart and stablemate Majborough, who kept on well to finish third at Leopardstown, will also represent Mullins in the Triumph.

Burdett Road remains on-course for Cheltenham, despite that defeat on Trials Day. Paul Nicholls has handed entries to both Kalif Du Berlais and Liari, with Gary Moore likely to run Finale Juvenile Hurdle winner, Salver.

Nurburgring could represent Joseph O'Brien on day four of the Cheltenham Festival. Bunting, Highwind, Miss Manzor and Ethical Diamond are possible runners for Willie Mullins. Other eye-catching entrants include Gordon Elliott's Wodhooh, Givemefive for Harry Derham, French raider Milan Tino, and Gary Moore's recruit from Ballydoyle, Peking Opera.
