The fourth and final Grade One on Champions' Day at the Cheltenham Festival is the Mares' Hurdle. Irish horses have dominated this two-and-a-half-mile hurdle since it's inception and a handful of Irish raiders are currently vying for favouritism ahead of this year's renewal.

2022 Mares' Hurdle Entries
Telmesomethinggirl bolted up in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle 12 months ago and Henry De Bromhead's star currently tops Paddy Power's betting at 3/1. Second in the market is Concertista, who also sits prominently in the betting for the Mares' Chase.
Royal Kahala has the option of the Stayers' Hurdle, but a run on day one of the Cheltenham Festival seems much more likely. Willie Mullins could run both Stormy Ireland and Burning Victory, having watched both impress in recent starts.
Queen's Brook could represent last year's winning connections. Pertemps Final winner, Mrs Milner could step up to Grade One company. As could last year's Coral Cup winner, Heaven Help Us.
Other likely runners include British challengers Maries Rock and Martello Sky. Molly Ollys Wishes, Indefatigable and Finest Evermore could also make an appearance in the Mares' Hurdle.
