The 2023 Cheltenham Festival opens with a bang, as many of the best young hurdlers in the sport battle it out in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

2023 Supreme Novices' Hurdle Entries
The hot favourite to win this year's Supreme was Facile Vega heading into the Dublin Racing Featival. Willie Mullins' Champion Bumper winner then produced a shocking performance in the Ireland Champion Novice Hurdle, finishing a tired fifth as stablemate Il Etait Temps claimed a shock win.
The Supreme betting is now topped by Barry Connell's Marine Nationale, who won the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse earlier in the season. Il Etait Temps is now a serious contender for the Supreme, where Willie Mullins could also run either Gaelic Warrior or Impaire Et Passe.
Paul Nicholls' Tahmuras is the highest-placed home entrant in the betting following his Grade One victory in the Tolworth. Charlie Longsdon's Rare Edition and Joseph O'Brien's High Definition also sit prominently in the market.
Henry De Bromhead could be represented by the unbeaten Inthepocket. Nicky Henderson has handed entries to Jet Powered and Luccia. Olly Murphy is also double-handed, with Chasing Fire and Strong Leader featuring in the betting.
Other possible Cheltenham Festival runners include Irish Point, Champ Kiely, Authorised Speed, L'Astroboy, Hullnback, Doctor Bravo and Fennor Cross.
