Kim Muir Handicap Chase Betting Tips

Like the other two 0-145 handicaps – the Northern Trust and the Martin Pipe – horses towards the top of the weights have an excellent record. Plan Of Attack looked a danger for Henry De Bromhead, and Mulcahys Hill could feature, despite his astronomical price. Yet, having dropped below the ceiling for this race, I think LE BREUIL has to be in with a fantastic chance on his return to the Festival.

12 months ago, Jamie Codd gave Le Breuil a fantastic ride to see off Discorama in the National Hunt Chase. The Grand National has been the plan for Ben Pauling at season. As such, I don’t think Le Breuil has really been asked to put his best foot forward in any of his three starts so far.

“The Coddfather” was in the saddle again at Aintree in December, guiding Le Breuil over the National fences for the first time in the Becher Chase. With no Gigginstown horses featuring prominently in the market, Pauling will probably be able to book Codd to take the ride, and his presence would only enhance Le Breuil’s claims.
