2023 Mares' Novices' Hurdle Entries

Ireland's 100% record in this contest was ended 12 months ago by Harry Fry's Love Envoi. Topping the market for this year's renewal is Nicky Henderson's Luccia, who recorded and impressive victory on her hurdles debut, but was forced to miss the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown after meeting a slight setback.

Willie Mullins hasn't won this race for two years, having saddled the first five winners of this contest. Mullins' best hope this year is recent Grade Three winner Ashroe Diamond. Impressive maiden winner, Night And Day has also been entered by Ireland's Champion Trainer, along with Lot Of Joy, Quel Reve and Nikini.

Henry De Bromhead could run Grade Three winner Magical Zoe and maiden winner Foxy Girl. Gordon Elliott could be represented by Liberty Dance, Deeply Superficial and Halka Du Tabert. Jetara and Lily Du Berlais could also represent Irish connections.

You have to scroll all the way down to the 20/1 shots to find the next possible British runner, Jamie Snowden's You Wear It Well. Nicky Henderson has entered last year's runner-up, Ahorsewithnoname. Other possible runners on day three of the Cheltenham Festival include Dan Skelton's Kateira, Fergal O'Brien's Bonttay and French raiders Enola and Got Glory.
