2024 Baring Bingham Novices' Hurdle Entries
Ballyburn has sat atop the Baring Bingham betting since the start of the season and his price shortened following an easy Grade One win at the Dublin Racing Festival. That victory came over the minimum distance, though, and Ballyburn is currently a shorter price for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.
If Ballyburn did run on day one, then Readin Tommy Wrong and Ile Atlantique, the winner and second from last month's Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle, will spearhead Mullins' challenge. Willie has also entered Billericay Dickie, Mystical Power, Predators Gold, Absurde, Mercurey and Mistergif.
Caldwell Potter landed the Grade One at Leopardstown over Christmas for Gordon Elliott, and could have his first start for Paul Nicholls on day two of the Cheltenham Festival. Elliott could still be represented by Farren Glory and Staffordshire Knott, while Henry De Bromhead's Slade Steel sits prominently in the market.
Harry Fry could be represented by Gidleigh Park on day two of the Cheltenham Festival. Paul Nicholls could run Captain Teague as well as Caldwell Potter. Nicky Henderson, meanwhile, has handed entries to Jango Baie, Jingko Blue and Lucky Place.
Other possible Baring Bingham runners include Neil King's Lookaway, No Flies On Him for Eddie O'Grady, Ben Pauling's Handstands and Johnnywho for Jonjo O'Neill.
