The Perth Scorchers come into this season as the defending champions of the BBL title. They are priced at 6.50 to defending their title while the Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes are both paying 4.50 with bet365.
In the final last season the Scorchers thrashed the Sixers by 79 runs at the Docklands Stadium to claim their fourth BBL title. The Sixers had won the previous two years so were looking for a hat-trick of trophies.
At the other end, the Melbourne Renegades are not given much of a chance to turn around their fortunes. They have struggled the last few seasons and bet365 have them at 13.00 to win the title.
