The Lions have a squad full of talent with no less than 11 internationals. That includes captain, Temba Bavuma, Reeza Hendricks, Dwaine Pretorius, Kagiso Rabada and Wiaan Mulder.
Warriors Form
The Warriors reached the final of the last edition of the CSA T20 Challenge where they lost to the Lions.
The Warriors finished bottom of their pool in the 2021 Momentum Cup. This after they managed just one win from their four matches.
An improvement will be expected from the Warriors, but the reality is that they will rely on a couple of players to put in big performances.
Warriors Injuries & Team News
In terms of international players, the Warriors have very little. Jon-Jon Smuts and Anrich Nortje will have to produce big performances on a consistent basis.
There will also be hope that Sinethemba Qushile can reproduce the form that got him an international call-up a couple of years ago.
