The Super Kings got off to a great start thanks to Rachin Ravindra (36 off 23 balls) and Devon Conway (69 off 49), aided by 42 off 27 balls from Shivam Dube. They couldn’t maintain the asking rate at the end, finishing 18 runs short with four wickets in hand.

After picking up their second win of the season, the Knight Riders crashed to a third defeat when they lost agonisingly to the Super Giants.

In response, the Knight Riders chased superbly through Ajinkya Rahane (61 off 35 balls) and Venkatesh Iyer (45 off 29). Despite strong hitting down the order, they ended just four runs short on 234/7 off their 20 overs.
