Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Punjab Kings Tips & Preview


Royal Challengers Bengaluru made it three wins from their last four completed matches when they beat the Punjab Kings by eight wickets. 

The Kings were rolled for 101 off just 14.1 overs. Josh Hazlewood (3/21, econ 6.63) and Suyash Sharma (3/17, econ 5.66) were sensational with the ball. 

Royal Challengers reached their target for the loss of two wickets off just 10 overs to book their place in the final. Phil Salt (56* off 27 balls) top-scored for the Royal Challengers. 

Punjab Kings made it two wins and two defeats from their last four matches when they beat the Mumbai Indians by five wickets in Qualifier 2. 

Mumbai Indians batted well to post 203/6 off their 20 overs. Azmatullah Omarzai (2/43) returned the best figures for the Kings, but Kyle Jamieson (1/30, econ 7.50) gave the Mumbai batters the biggest challenge. 

The Kings timed their chase perfectly, reaching their target for the loss of five wickets and with one over to spare.  Shreyas Iyer (87* off 41 balls) and Nehal Wadhera (48 off 29 balls) shared an 84-run stand for the fourth wicket that set up the victory.
