The inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League will get underway from March 4 featuring five franchises.

The Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz will all be represented with some of the big names from women's cricket set to take part.

The matches will be played at the DY Patil Stadium and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai with the final set to take place on March 26.

The Capri Global Holdings Pvt. Ltd, Indiawin Sports Pvt. Ltd (MI), JSW GMR Cricket Pvt. Ltd (DC), Adani Sportsline Pvt. Ltd and Royal Challengers Sports Pvt. Ltd (RCB) won the bid for the first five franchises in the WPL.

WPL 2023: When and Where to Watch?

The WPL 2023 matches will start at 19:30 IST on weekdays. The weekends will hold double-headers with the first match starting at 15:30.

Sports18 network will telecast all the matches in India for the WPL 2023 while the live streaming will be available on the JIO CINEMA app. It will be free to stream for the JIO users.
