The chase was far from simple with the match swinging from one side to the other. In the end, Mitchell Santner’s 59 off 35 balls was enough to steer the Northern Brave to a two wicket success.

The Brave have dominated this season and the return of internationals has just made them more dangerous. They could also have Kane Williamson back for the final.
Canterbury Kings Form
The Canterbury Kings finished second on the Super Smash table with seven wins from their 10 round robin matches. They then had to face the Wellington Firebirds in the eliminator with the winner advancing to the final.
The Firebirds batted first and put in a commanding performance, scoring 190 runs in their 20 overs. Going into the chase the Firebirds were favourites to defend that score but a magnificent 63 off 25 balls by Cam Fletcher saw the Kings get over the line.
Chad Bowes scored 51 runs at the top of the order while Leo Carter contributed 44 in the middle order.

The Kings don’t have as much international quality as their opponents but have still welcomed back players like Tom Latham and Daryl Mitchell. They should be unchanged.
