While Pakistan have a superb team on paper, their form coming into this tournament has been poor. They also lost to the USA in their opening game so they are under huge pressure to get a result.

Considering India's current form, I can't see Pakistan pulling this one out of the bag. The value is with the in-form Virat Kohli.

India raced to the win for the loss of just two wickets after a great start from Rohit Sharma, who retired hurt after scoring 52 off 37 balls. Rishabh Pant (36 off 26 balls) took India home with 46 balls in hand.

Pakistan Form

Pakistan came into the World Cup on the back of a 2-0 series loss against England and lost their opening match on a Super Over against the USA.

Pakistan scored a decent 159/7 off their 20 overs on a tricky wicket in Dallas. Babar Azam scored 44 and Shadab Khan added a swift 40 off 25 balls, but the rest of the top order failed to fire.

The USA chased well and forced a Super Over with a four off the last ball of their 20 overs, reaching 159 for the loss of three wickets. Mohammad Amir was the pick of the Pakistan bowlers (1/25).

The USA scored 18/0 in their Super Over, to which Pakistan could only reply with 13/1 as the USA picked up a historic win.

Pakistan’s top-order needs to support Babar Azam, who is batting superbly. Their bowlers are dangerous but have been lacking the final bit of control needed to knock sides over.
