England are considered third favourites to win the T20 World Cup following the announcement of the provisional squad on Tuesday.

Jos Buttler’s team are on the hunt for a record-setting third T20 crown, and bookmaker Coral is 9/2 that they achieve that feat.

Those odds put them behind just two other teams in the outright betting for the tournament.

India are considered 11/4 favourites to be crowned world champions, while Australia are 7/2 to walk away with the crown.

“Jofra Archer’s return will be a massive boost to England’s chances in this T20 World Cup,” Coral’s Lewis Knowles told FreeTips.com.

“Jos Buttler’s men are 9/2 in our betting to win the competition for a record third time.

“India head the market, but Australia have been in excellent form in white-ball cricket of late, and they look to have a huge chance as second favourites.”
