South Africa scored a competitive 194/4 off their 20 overs, despite excellent bowling from Saurabh Netravalkar (2/21) and Harmeet Singh (2/24).

The USA got off to a great start but they were struggling at 76/5 in the 12th over, before a 96-run partnership between Andries Gous (80* off 47 balls) and Harmeet Singh (38 off 22 balls) kept them in the hunt, until two brilliant final overs by the South Africans.

West Indies Form

After four powerful wins in the Group phase, the West Indies were lost to an in-form England.

The West Indies scored 180/4 off their 20 overs, Johnson Charles, Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell all scoring in the 30s.

England hit their target with eight wickets and 15 balls to spare. Roston Chase (1/19, econ 6.33) was the best of the West Indies bowlers.
