Nkrumah Bonner was hit on the helmet in the 1st Test and had to miss the rest of the match. It is not likely that he will pass a concussion test before the 2nd Test.
Kieran Powell, who replaced Bonner in the second innings will likely open with Kraigg Brathwaite. Shai Hope will bat at three.
South Africa Form
South Africa’s Test form had not been very good but they came good in the 1st Test to beat the West Indies by an innings and 63 runs.
Lungi Ngidi took 5-19 as the visitors bowled their hosts out for 97 runs in the first innings. Aiden Markram continued his fine form with 60 runs while Quinton de Kock ended unbeaten on 141 as South Africa scored 322 runs.
In the second innings it was Kagiso Rabada who produced the goods, taking 5-34 to bowl the West Indies out for 162 runs.

If Temba Bavuma is not passed fit then South Africa are likely to remain unchanged. If Bavuma is fit then he will take the place of Keegan Peterson.
