Ashes 2023 Odds – Australia odds-on to win first overseas Ashes since 2001

The visitors have been well backed since they won the World Test Championship final at the Oval last weekend.

As a result, Coral makes Australia odds-on at 10/11 to retain the Ashes, with England 11.8 to prevail in the series and win back the urn.

The draw, which was the result of the 2019 series, is 6/1.

“Australia have been very popular in our series betting since their victory over India in the World Test Championship final,” Coral’s John Hill told FreeTips.com.

“They will be looking for their first series success here since 2001, but many punters believe they will prevail.

“Prior to Jack Leach being ruled out of the series, England were favourites in the series betting.

“Their odds have drifted out following that blow and, as a result, they are now the underdogs against their oldest rivals.”
