India meet Pakistan in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup semi final in Potchefstroom. It is traditionally a great rivalry but with a place in the final up for grabs there should be some added spice. Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his fine form with the bat scoring 62 runs as India posted 223 runs in their 50 overs. Australia only managed 159 runs in response as Kartik Tyagi took 4-24 and Ravi Bishnoi 1-26. Pakistan have shown some superb form during the 2020 under-19 Cricket World Cup. The only match they didn’t win was a rained out affair against Bangladesh. In Pakistan’s last match they defeated Afghanistan by six wickets in Benoni.

Muhammad Amir Khan was the pick of the bowlers taking 3-58 as Pakistan kept Afghanistan to 189 runs. They then made light work of the chase as Muhammad Huraira scored 64 runs with Pakistan winning with nine overs to spare.

That quarter final victory has set up with mouthwatering clash with neighbours India in the semi final. Huraira who came in for Muhammad Shehzad in the last match is tipped to be the top run scorer at 4.50.

Muhammad Huraira is likely to keep his place ahead of Muhammad Shezad after an impressive innings of 64 runs in Pakistan’s previous match.
