Botanic Gardens Rangers will face the Grenadine Divers in the 3rd/4th playoff of the Vincy Premier T10 League in Kingstown on Sunday after both suffered defeat in the semi finals.

The Rangers have shown the better form this season including two victories over the Divers so the value is certainly on them.

They managed to post 117/7 in their innings, which is the 3rd highest score of the tournament but still lost by 33 runs.

Hyron Shallow and Kenneth Dember have been the key men for the Rangers in the Vincy Premier T10 League and will surely hold the key to them taking third place.

The Grenadine Divers have been far from impressive in the Vincy Premier T10 League. They lost 6 of their 8 games in the round-robin phase but reached the semi with a superior run rate. In their semi final against the Salt Pond Breakers they forced a tight encounter but eventually came unstuck by 5 wickets.

The Divers batted first and started superbly with an opening stand of 57 runs. They however ended their innings on 82/9 after a major collapse. Asif Hooper top scored with 32 and continued to show why he was the Divers top run-scorer in the tournament.

Despite that collapse the Divers rallied well and took for wickets in the first over but again let the Breakers off the hook. Asif Hooper was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3-24 runs.

The Divers may look to rotate some of the team as it is their last game but key players such as Asif Hopper will surely remain.
