England vs India Women 3rd T20I Preview

England have it all up against them going into the third T20I against India at The Oval on Friday evening. After losing by 24 runs in the second T20I in Bristol, England are 2-0 down, needing to win all three remaining matches to win the series. 

And they will now have to do that without their captain and best batter Nat Sciver-Brunt who has been ruled out of the series with an injury. Tammy Beaumont will lead England in her absence. 

England Form

England’s form has been poor this series with both bat and ball, which is a tad surprising. Beaumont found some form with 54 off 35 balls in the previous game but there was not enough substance elsewhere. 

England Team News

Sciver-Brunt is out, which means Beaumont could move up to No. 3. 

"The worst thing we could do right now is panic," Beaumont said. "Obviously, it's not the circumstances we wanted to be in. We didn't want to be 2-0 down, and we didn't want our captain and best batter to be out of the team. But we're here where we are, and that's what we've got to do.

India Form

India have few concerns with their form. Even Jemimah Rodrigues found some fluency in the previous match as she scored 63 off 41 balls while Amanjot Kaur put the impetus with 63 off 40 balls. 

With the ball, Shree Charani continued her impressive run with two wickets for 28 runs in her four overs.
