All the matches and results from the Icons of Darts

The Modus Icons of Darts Live League was launched in April 2020. Launched by MODUS Darts, the competition features players competing from home live through a high quality webcam setup.

The players competing include Raymond van Barneveld, Mark Webster, Paul Nicholson, Andy Jenkins, David Evans, Wessel Nijman, Jason Askew, Robert Collins, Jarred Cole and Arron Monk.

The tournament is a round robin format with matches taking place daily from Monday to Saturday each week.

Every match is the best of nine legs (first to five) with the player that accumulates the most points crowned the winner each day. At the end of each week a player is crowned the winner for that week.

Icons of Darts Live League Day Two (Week One) Results

Day Two saw Wessel Nijman extended his unbeaten run to eight matches. The 19-year-old Dutchman produced another dominant day of darts.

Nijman beat Raymond van Barneveld 5-2, David Evans 5-3 with a 95.8 average, Paul Nicholson 5-1 with a 99 average and Andy Jenkins 5-2 with a 95.7 average and a high checkout of 121.

Jenkins won three of his four matches with Van Barneveld’s nightmare start to the tournament continuing. Barney failed to win a match for the second consecutive day.

David Evans won Day Three, beginning the day by beating Andy Jenkins 5-0 and defeating Wessel Nijman 5-4. Evans was beaten 5-3 by Raymond van Barneveld, needing to beat Mark Webster by two clear legs to overtake Jenkins which he did with a 5-1 victory.

The first week Icons of Darts Live League saw David Evans emerge victorious. Evans did not play on day six but won by a one leg margin after Wessel Nijman lost to Mark Webster 5-4 in a last leg decider.

Evans finished on 30 points tied with Nijman. Paul Nicholson was next on 22 points, Andy Jenkins on 20 points, Raymond van Barneveld on 10 points and Mark Webster on eight points.
