PDC World Darts Championship Tips - Day Three Acca
Mike De Decker vs Edward Foulkes
Edward "Shouji" Foulkes was still an amateur when he booked his spot in the World Championships, winning a PDC Asian Tour qualifier. Foulkes beat Ally Pally regular, Seigo Asado in the semi-final, where Asada averaged less than 70. It's been a fairytale story for Foulkes to reach the World Championship, but I fear his journey won't have a happy ending.
MIKE DE DECKER won four times on the PDC Development Tour between 2015 and 2017. After dropping off the senior tour, De Decker earned a two-year card when winning at Q School back in January, and he's risen to 95th on the PDC Japanese opponent.
Ryan Murray vs Lourence Ilagan
Ryan Murray has the infamy of being the player Michae Van Gerwen hit two nine-darters against in the 2017 UK Open. The Scotsman has been in decent form this season, but this looks a good opportunity for Filipino LOURENCE ILAGAN to make it fifth-time lucky on the Ally Pally stage.
Ilagan took a set off Vincent van der Voort in 2019, and was 2-0 up against the classy Cristo Reyes in the first round last year, before going down 3-2. Ilagan is the number one player on the PDC Asian Tour this season, and hit his first televised nine-darter in 2019. He can make his experience count.

Ron Meulenkamp vs Boris Krcmar
RON MEULENKAMP has qualified for the World Championship via his order of merit position for the fourth year in a row. The lefty from the Netherlands has twice won his opening round match, losing to Michael Smith 3-1 in the second round in 2019, before a narrow defeat to Chris Dobey 12 months ago.
Boris Krcmar made his only World Championship appearance in 2011, losing comfortably in the prelims. Krcmar, who's better known for his soft-tip exploits, hasn't enjoyed the best run of results on tour this term, and Meulenkamp should have too much quality for him.
Danny Lauby Jnr was handed a spot at the World Championships after winning the CDC Continental Cup. Ryan Searle is a completely different class of opponent to anything he's faced before though, and "Heavy Metal" should secure a simply 3-0 victory.
