Punters back Fallon Sherrock to win 2020 PDC World Darts Championship

FALLON SHERROCK HAS SEEN A 371% increase in bets on her winning the World Darts Championship after a history-making night at Alexandra Palace.

Ladbrokes can reveal a staggering spike in overnight bets on Sherrock, who has seen her odds of going all the way this year tumble from 2500/1 to just 500/1 after beating Ted Evetts in the opening round.

She'll face Mensur Suljovic in the second round, and is 13/2 to cause yet another Ally Pally upset, with 85% of punters backing her to get the better of the world number 11.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "She-rocked Ally Pally last night and Fallon's clearly got the backing of punters, who fancy the history-maker to go even further in the competition."
