Leading bookmaker Coral makes Luke Littler 4-1 to win the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship.
On his World Championships debut, 16-year-old Luke Littler enjoyed a stunning run to the Final. "The Nuke" defeated Raymond van Barneveld, Brendan Dolan and Rob Cross on his way to the final, but was beaten 7-4 by World Number One, Luke Humphries.
Despite that final loss, a runner-up prize of £200k saw Littler jump into the world's top 32, meaning he won't have to play on the Developmental Tour next season. Littler is one of the favourites to receive a wild card for the 2024 Premier League, and bookmakers Coral are expecting big things from the dart's prodigy next season.
“Luke Littler fell just one hurdle short of a world title on his debut at the Ally Pally. We think he will be in the mix once again next year as we make him just 9/2 to lift the trophy,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Littler has been backed to become world number one in the sport by 2025 and we have taken bets on him breaking Phil Taylor’s record of 16 world titles.”
Luke Humphries is the 4/1 favourite to retain his PDC World Darts Championship crown in 2025. Littler sits second in the betting alongside Michael van Gerwen, with Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith rounding off the top five.
