Michael van Gerwen favourite to win PDC World Darts Championship 2021

Michael van Gerwen is the 5/2 favourite with bookmaker Coral to win the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship after the draw for the first round was made on Thursday.
MVG is followed in the betting by Gerwyn Price at 5/1 as he looks to win the trophy for the first time, while defending champion Peter Wright can be backed at 11/2.
Coral spokesman John Hill told FreeTips.com: "Mighty Mike looks to have come to form at exactly the right time of the year. The Dutchman is the favourite in the betting to win his third world title, ahead of Gerwyn Price and the defending champion Peter Wright respectively."
Michael Smith and Jose de Souza are next in the betting, with both available at 14/1 at time of writing.
