The 2024 PDC World Championship is being played from December 15 to January 3 and takes place at Alexandra Palace in London.
The biggest event of the season, Michael Smith bids to defend the title he won when defeating Michael Van Gerwen 7-4 in the 30th edition.
Darts' biggest event once again sees 96 players competing for The Sid Waddell Trophy and £2.5m in prize money either side of Christmas and the New Year.

PDC World Championship Format
There are 96 players that qualify for the tournament including the top 32 from the PDC Order of Merit, the 32 highest-ranked players on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit and 32 qualifiers from around the world.
The top 32 from the PDC Order of Merit all start in the second round. The 32 highest-ranked players on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit and 32 qualifiers from around the world start in the first round.
A tie-break will be in operation in all round from the second round onwards, where the final set must be won by two clear legs. If the score reaches five-all, the 11th leg will be a sudden-death leg.
