PDC World Darts Championship Tips - Day Seven Tips

Krzysztof Ratajski vs Ryan Joyce

KRZYSZTOF RATAJSKI enters his fourth World Championships as the 15th seed, his highest ranking ever in the PDC. The "Polish Eagle" suffered two first-round exits in 2018 and '19, but enjoyed a good run to the Last 32 in 2020, beating Zoran Lerchbacker in his second round match, before a narrow 4-3 defeat to Nathan Aspinall.

Ryan Joyce is a capable thrower, but needed plenty of luck to edge out Karel Sedlacek in his opening round encounter earlier in the week. Ratajski should be able to get past him pretty comfortable, if he brings his A-game to the big stage.

Ian White vs Kim Huybrechts

Tenth seed, Ian White has only won his first match in twice in nine World Championship appearance. In 2015, KIM HUYBRECHTS defeated the Englishman 4-3 on the Ally Pally stage, and "The Hurricane" is certainly the best value bet on day seven.

Huybrechts was under no pressure at all from his Chinese opponent, Di Zhuang in round one. The Belgian won every single leg, averaging a superb 104. It hasn't been a stellar season for Huybrechts, but he'll be high on confidence and Ian White will have to be at his very best to defeat him.

Gabriel Clemens vs Nico Kurz

This battle of the Germans should go the way of GABRIEL CLEMENS, who's enjoyed a break-out season on the PDC. Clemens has shot up to 31st in the rankings this season, reaching the Last 16 in the Grand Prix, the Matchplay and the UK Open.

Kurz wasn't particularly impressive during a 3-1 win over Andy Hamilton in the first round, only averaging 87. Clemens should comfortably outscore his younger opponent, and if he's on song on the outer ring, it should be a fairly comfortable evening for the "Giant German".
