PDC World Darts Championship Tips - Day Ten Tips
Krzysztof Ratajski vs Simon Whitlock
Krzysztof Ratajski secured a 3-0 win in his first round match, averaging 100 in getting the better of Ryan Joyce. SIMON WHITLOCK also averaged over 100 during a high-quality second-round game against the plucky Darius Labanauskas.
I was really impressed with Whitlock in that final set decider, where he reeled off three straight legs. Getting over the line can be an issue for the former World Championship runner-up, and I think it will give Whitlock a good boost of confidence going into this game with the "Polish Eagle".
Dimitri van den Bergh vs Jermaine Wattimena
DIMITRI VAN DEN BERGH made the breakthrough this season, winning the World Matchplay in excellent style. The former World Youth Champion played like a major winner when dispatching Paul Lim in the first round, and I'd be surprised if he dropped more than a solitary set to Wattimena.
Joe Cullen vs Jonny Clayton
JOE CULLEN hasn't got the best record at this tournament, so he would have been delighted with his 3-0 second-round win over a dangerous opponent in Wayne Jones. Jonny Clayton has enjoyed a strong season on tour and is certainly an opponent to be expected, but I'm expecting Cullen to overpower the Welshman.
Peter Wright vs Gabriel Clemens
Gabriel Clemens has proven himself to be a top player this season, and his scoring is sure to create opportunities for the Giant German. Yet, I still expect the reigning World Champion, PETER WRIGHT to come through this game quite comfortably.
Wright, who dressed up like The Grinch to delight the small crowd, was far from his best against Steve West. "Snakebite" still won that game comfortably, and I expect a much more professional display against a very dangerous rival.
