The draw has been made for the 2021 Ladbrokes Darts Masters, as the 24 highest-ranked players on the PDC lock horns for two days behind closed doors at Milton Keynes.

The 2021 Masters will begin on Friday 29th of January, with the semi-finals and final taking place on Sunday 31st.

For the first time since its inception in 2013, there's been a change to the Masters' format. Where it has previously just been played out by the top-16 players in the world, the top-24 have been invited this year, with the top eight seeds going straight through into round two.

Here's the draw for the opening round of the 2021 Masters.

Reigning World Champion, Gerwyn Price will have to face either Joe Cullen or Stephen Bunting in Round Two. We could then see a re-run of the World Final, if runner-up Gary Anderson can get past either Michael Smith or Adrian Lewis in his first match.

Peter Wright edged out Smith in a thrilling final to this non-ranking event 12-months ago. "Snakebite" will face either Krzysztof Ratajski or Simon Whitlock in Round Two, with Dave Chisnall, Daryl Gurney and Jeffrey de Zwaan also featuring in the bottom quarter of the draw.

Ian White and Mensur Suljovic will battle it out to earn a match with sixth-seed Nathan Aspinall in Round Two. Masters debutante, Glen Durrant faces a tricky task in Round One, as he's been drawn against a resurgent Mervyn King, with the winner of that tie to face Rob Cross in the next round.

Michael van Gerwen will have to face either Jose de Sousa or Jonny Clayton in his first match after losing the World Number One ranking to Gerwyn Price. Dimitri van de Bergh will face Chris Dobey in a battle of the Masters' debutantes, with the winner set to face seventh-seed James Wade in Round Two.
