UK Open Darts Championships Winners
The first UK Open was held in 2003 with Phil Taylor beating Shayne Burgess 18-8 in the final. Taylor would go on to win five UK Open's.
Michael van Gerwen and James Wade have both won two titles, Wade the defending champion after beating Luke Humphries in the 2021 final. Raymond van Barneveld is the only other player to win more than once, winning two titles.
Peter Wright, Gary Anderson, Nathan Aspinall, Adrian Lewis, Roland Scholten and Robert Thornton have all won once with Gerwyn Price a runner-up on two occasions.

History
The UK Open darts tournament began in 2003 and took place in June each year at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, England. In 2014 the UK Open moved to Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England.
Phil Taylor beat Shayne Burgess in the 2003 final, the first of his five UK Open titles. Taylor achieved a perfect nine-dart finish four times at the UK Open (2004, 2005, 2007 & 2008).
Mervyn King (2010), Gary Anderson (2012), Wes Newton (2013) and Michael van Gerwen (2016) are the other players to achieve a nine-dart leg.
The 2018 UK Open was played behind closed doors due to extreme weather conditions jeapordising the safety of fans.
The 2020 tournament was moved to the Marshall Arena in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
