Boston Breach are one of the Call of Duty esports teams, you never know what to expect from. They had their moments in Stage 3, but have not shown much across the first two weeks of CDL 2025 Major 4 Qualifiers, with two crushing losses against Vancouver Surge and Carolina Royal Ravens.

Breach have also beaten OpTic Texas (3-2), which is nothing to sneeze at, but it also highlights how inconsistent Boston Breach can be. This will not do them any favours against LA Thieves, who are an excellent team across all three game modes.

This is an interesting record for the defending Major champions, or better said, it is a concerning record, especially on Search & Destroy.

In their defence, LA Thieves played two of the best S&D teams in FaZe and Miami Heretics and considering how good the Thieves have been this season, you can not feel too concerned about them and their chances to bounce back.
