OpTic Texas have been struggling a lot over the last few months, and even after numerous roster changes, they've failed to find any momentum. This, however, seems to have changed with the arrival of Mercules, who has so far played just two games for his new team, but has already left a very positive impression.

Mercules helped OpTic to a 2-1 record in CDL 2025 Major 4 Qualifiers, and has posted some of the best individual stats in OpTic Texas' games against Boston Breach (2-3) and Carolina Royal Ravens (3-0).

This, while only the beginning of OpTic's bounce back, is very promising and if OpTic can keep playing this way, they will soon reclaim their tag as one of the league's best teams.

There is not much to say about the Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 that has not already been said. They are 0-3 after two weeks of play and have been one of the worst-performing teams of the season. Of late, they've been even worse than the Vegas Falcons.

In this stage, the Guerrilas have already slipped against Miami Heretics (2-3), Minnesota RØKKR (2-3), and Atlanta FaZe (0-3), which does not inspire much confidence.

In their defence, Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 secured four maps, so they've shown some signs of life, but even that does not excite me about this roster.
