3DMAX came together at the end of November, forming a new lineup to represent the organisation, which hasn’t been active in the Counter-Strike scene since 2019. The new French lineup hasn’t accomplished much over the last three months; however, they did make some noise in a couple of events.

In November, they crashed out of the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023 in last place but improved the impression by winning ESL Challenger League Season 46: Europe at the start of December. Since then, 3DMAX haven’t come close to winning another tournament and have been particularly disappointing so far this year.

In January, 3DMAX failed to show much with early exits from RMR qualifiers and the Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024: European Open Qualifier #2, managing a 3-3 record over their last six outings.

Sprout found some traction at the end of 2023 with a top-six finish at European Pro League Season 12, fifth-eighth at YaLLa Compass Fall 2023, and a semifinal run at 22BET Christmas Cup. Sprout enter this match as underdogs mainly because they’ve lost one of the best players at the start of the month. However, they’re against a team that hasn’t shown much recently, so it’s tough to justify backing 3DMAX at the offered price.

Sprout at 2.10 is a much more appealing choice. They have kept the core that did well at the end of 2023, and while adding a new player a few days ago isn’t optimal, Sprout shouldn’t be considered weaker than 3DMAX.
