Aurora haven't looked too great over the last month. They attended ten events in August, and their best placements were third at CCT Online Finals #2 and a semifinal appearance at RES Season 5. Most recently, Aurora attended the first and third RES Eastern European Masters: Fall 2023 - Open Qualifier, finishing in ninth-16th and fifth-eighth place.

Despite attending so many tournaments last month, Aurora have played just five games since August 26 and lost all but one. Over that stretch, the Russians have lost against 9Pandas (0-2), Bad News Eagles (0-2), 500 (13-16), and Superstars (16-19). Their sole victory came against AiMMERS (16-10).

Aurora field solid players, and their recent dry streak might be nothing more than that; however, even though Aurora are capable of much more than what they've shown, it's hard to be optimistic about a team purely due to their potential.

Into The Breach Form

Into the Breach have been stumbling this season, struggling to find much success in their competitive endeavours. This led to a couple of roster changes at the start of the month when ITB signed two new players, Alexey "Qikert" Golubev and Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier.

The duo made their official debut for Into The Breach at RES Western European Masters: Fall 2023, where they helped the team reach the finals, which is a promising sign. And even though it's hard to come to any firm conclusions so early, Qikert and misutaaa are great additions to ITB.

Aurora v Into the Breach

Aurora are a more capable team than Into the Breach and should be able to have higher highs. However, Into the Breach are in better form, and the recent signing of Qikert and misutaaa makes this roster much stronger.

Admittedly, ITB will need some time to adjust to the new lineup, but they looked solid earlier this month and look more than capable of beating Aurora.
