In May, FaZe crashed out of BLAST.tv Paris Major in fifth-eighth place, and earlier this month, exited IEM Dallas 2023 with a 1-2 loss against ENCE in the semifinals.

Even though those are decent results, FaZe Clan could've and should've accomplished much. On a more positive note, FaZe Clan looked good in their win (16-5, 16-6) against Astralis in the opening round of BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023. It was a good performance, but it's worth noting that Heroic are a step up in competition from Astralis.

Even though Heroic haven't won a tournament this year, they've consistently finished in top spots across all big events. Moreover, Heroic are in excellent form, with just three losses from their last 15 outings. That includes two wins against FaZe Clan, who Heroic bested twice at Paris Major, so it's fair to expect them to do just as well on Thursday.
