Team Falcons won both of the last clashes and are fresh off a grand final run at Intel Extreme Masters Melbourne 2025, which is a good indication of just how strong the new-look roster is. However, it is important to consider that the Falcons have played two Counter-Strike 2 tournaments this month and have only recently landed in Denmark.

Team Falcons should be feeling some fatigue and possibly be jet lagged, so they might not be at 100% for the first match of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. Even with that handicap, FaZe Clan are unlikely to win considering their form, but they should be in a fine spot to do some damage.

It is very hard to stay optimistic about FaZe Clan after what they’ve shown over the last few months. They did not have the best showing in Melbourne, and while FaZe made the knockout stage, that was still far below expectations.

On the other side, FaZe have a very stacked roster, so they’re never to be underestimated, especially as long as karrigan is their in-game leader.

For that reason alone, I fully expect FaZe to bounce back at one point this season, although if things continue the way they’ve been going, a roster change will likely happen soon.

Team Falcons enter BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 off a very strong showing at Intel Extreme Masters Melbourne 2025, where they made the grand finals and nearly defeated Team Vitality.

It marked their second back-to-back grand final appearance after winning PGL Bucharest 2025 and the first since the addition of m0NESY. Even with a new AWPer, the Falcons managed to look just as – if not more – potent and if that is any indication, they will continue to get better.

Falcons, despite being relatively unproven – having played just one game with this roster – have a real shot at winning the whole event. However, knowing they’ve recently played the finals in Melbourne, Team Falcons might feel a bit fatigued and jet-lagged for the opening match of the group stage.

Verdict

FaZe Clan v Team Falcons

Team Falcons are objectively the more likely team to win. They’ve looked incredible over the last month, and their title from PGL Bucharest 2025 and a silver medal from IEM Melbourne 2025 are good enough reasons to have faith in them.

However, the Falcons will likely be fatigued for the first round of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, and while they are facing FaZe who are not in the best shape, FaZe are still a very stacked team with great individual talent and an excellent in-game leader.

The Falcons should win, but I have enough faith in FaZe’s raw quality to give them one map.
