This year, Sangal Esports crashed out of the PGL Major Copenhagen open qualifiers and IEM Chengdu qualifiers, continuing a worrying trend of subpar showings. At the start of February, Sangal placed fifth-sixth at European Pro League Season 13, which was one of their most notable results of the last six months, yet even in that tournament, they've only managed to defeat Spirit Academy and ALTERNATE aTTaX.

Permitta Esports rebuilt its Counter-Strike roster in January 2024, signing four new players and a coach, following a shaky run through the 2023 season.

The new-look roster hasn't accomplished anything exceptional so far this year. Still, they did qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European Qualifier A and produced a handful of solid showings in IEM Chengdu and RES Western European Masters qualifiers.

They're 2-3 across their last five series, with losses against ENEIDA, Natus Vincere Junior, and Endpoint and two wins against Team Secret and NOM. Before that, Permitta defeated 3DMAX and GODSENT, which is impressive for their standards.

However, while Permitta have produced some solid games, they have also shown to be somewhat inconsistent.
