Team Falcons have been one of the most inconsistent Counter-Strike 2 teams in the scene. However, despite the bumpy road Falcons had to drive over this season, they made a massive splash earlier this month with a title run at PGL Bucharest 2025.

After the recent success, the Falcons announced a roster change and brought in a new AWPer, m0NESY. The ex-G2 Esports superstar will replace degster, who, while an excellent AWPer, has been inconsistent.

The Russian is not only a better player but also far more consistent and could be the one to fix Team Falcons' main weakness.

SAW have yet to win a tournament this season. In their defence, they've attended only bigger events, and they did relatively well at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 (fifth-eighth).

However, defending SAW for not accomplishing much since they had to compete in some of the toughest tournaments does not apply here, as things will not get any easier in Melbourne.

SAW are 5-5 from their last 10 games, which sounds promising, as they managed to defeat 3DMAX, HEROIC, FURIA, M80, and Natus Vincere. However, all those wins came in early March.

Since then, SAW have lost four in a row, against Spirit (0-2), G2 Esports (0-2), GamerLegion (1-2), and more recently, against BetBoom Team (3-13). The latter was SAW's first match since March 10.

Team Falcons v SAW

No matter how you look at this game, it is Team Falcons' game to lose. They looked excellent in PGL Bucharest 2025 and will be even stronger and more consistent with m0NESY joining the lineup.
On the other side, we have SAW, who have played just one game in the last 40 days, and even that ended in a crushing loss against BetBoom Team.

The only way for SAW to get anything from this fixture is if Team Falcons slip. But the quality difference is significant enough to believe that m0NESY and co. will run over the Portuguese squad.
