Team Falcons enter this match as betting favourites, which does not sound right. While the Falcons have shown good things, they're also very inconsistent, as proven in their last two outings – with a competitive game against MOUZ and a rough showing against The Huns Esports.

Virtus.pro have not accomplished much this season, but they have hardly been any worse than the Falcons and are more consistent with their performances. At outsider odds, Virtus.pro are a no-brainer pick.

Team Falcons are one of the least trustworthy teams attending BLAST Open Spring 2025 (besides FURIA). Even though the Falcons have shown they can perform at the highest level, they have also been widely inconsistent.

Just earlier in this event, Team Falcons played a close series against MOUZ, only to nearly drop a map against The Huns Esports in the lower bracket quarterfinals (13-16, 13-6).

Once again, NiKo had to step up and carry his team to victory, and while degster had a solid showing too (1.24 rating), he has not been the most consistent performer – which explains the Falcons' struggles of late.

Virtus.pro Form

Virtus.pro have managed a decent run through BLAST Open Spring 2025. They bested FaZe Clan (2-1) in the first round but were no match for Team Vitality (0-2), losing the series 6-13 and 5-13 on Abubis and Inferno, respectively.

While not the most inspiring display, Vitality are on another level, so I would not blame VP too much for losing that badly.

Compared to Falcons, Virtus.pro have hardly shown less. They played an excellent game against FaZe Clan and have some solid showings from earlier this year. Admittedly, VP have not reached the same heights as the Falcons this season, but they've also had lower lows.

Team Falcons can be very hit-or-miss. This season, they have had some very good games but just as many shaky displays, which makes them a very unappealing bet as favourites.

Virtus.pro are definitely not at 100% yet, and they, like the Falcons, have produced some stinkers. However, VP are a more stable team than the Falcons, with who you never know what you're going to get.

At outsider odds, I'll happily take Virtus.pro.
