That is mainly due to the excellent showings Vitality have produced since that loss. That includes trashing of Nemiga Gaming (13-6), 3DMAX (13-2), and Virtus.pro (13-6, 13-6) over the next three games of Stage 3.

Vitality have now lost just one game since February. While Legacy showed that Vitality can bleed, that loss could have been the result of Vitality underestimating their opponents and is in no way an indication of Vitality’s struggles.

Team Vitality v Natus Vincere

Team Vitality are billed as heavy favourites for this match, which makes a lot of sense. They’ve been in exceptional form since February and have looked very good in the final three rounds of Stage 3.

Not only are Vitality in better shape, but they are also in a better spot map-pool-wise. Natus Vincere’s best map is Inferno, which is also Vitality’s favourite map, besides Train.

On top of that, NaVi’s firepower is just not good enough to match elite-tier teams, and unless something has drastically changed over the short break between Stage 3 and Playoffs, this will be a very difficult game for Natus Vincere.
