Seeing Vitality lose to Astralis was a bit surprising, considering Astralis weren't viewed as a real threat to do well at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024. Still, one rough showing doesn't take away from the fact that Team Vitality have won nine straight series ahead of that defeat.

Over that stretch, Vitality won BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 and are now 6-3 since the transition to Counter-Strike 2.

The new lineup debuted in the first round of BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, when Falcons lost against Astralis with 8-13, 3-13.

After the tough defeat, Team Falcons found more traction against OG, who they swept with 13-2, 13-11.

Team Falcons have just two official games to their record, so it's impossible to say how good this team can be. They looked solid against OG and less convincing against Astralis, so while the Falcons have shown some promise, they have much to prove.
