Featuring a mouth-watering $1,000,000 prize pool and 10 Dota 2 esports teams, BLAST Slam III will play over six days, culminating with a best-of-five (BO5) grand final on Friday, May 9.

When Does BLAST Slam III Start?


BLAST Slam III is scheduled to start on Monday, May 5, 2025, with the first round of the group stage.

The 10 participating Dota 2 teams will begin their BLAST Slam III campaign in the group stage, where they’re split into two round-robin groups of five, and all games are played as best-of-one (BO1).

BLAST Slam III will feature 10 Dota 2 esports teams, all of whom have received direct invites as there were no tournament qualifiers.

BLAST Slam III will offer a $1,000,000 prize pool divided into two parts – player and club prize pool, with a 75/25 split, with the largest slice going to the players.

BetBoom Team (11.00) head to BLAST Slam III as one of the underdogs, as are Aurora Gaming (17.00), Xtreme Gaming (26.00), and Team Tidebound (26.00), who are not expected to compete for the trophy.
