After their dominant display at Halo Championship Series (HCS) 2025 Arlington Major, OpTic Gaming and Shopify Rebellion claimed the tags as the top dogs ahead of the season's second HCS event.

Scheduled to begin on Friday, May 23, the HCS 2025 Dallas Open is the second big event on the Halo esports schedule, succeeding the Arlington Major and preceding the Salt Lake City Major.

The tournament will feature 16 teams and offer a $150,000 prize pool, making the HCS 2025 Dallas Open the least lucrative A-Tier event of the Halo esports season.
