Esports bookmakers have Bilibili Gaming priced as 1.08 favourites to defeat EDward Gaming, who enter the series as 7.00 underdogs. This is quite a big number, but a justifiable one since EDG haven't looked great this season, and it's clear that things aren't working out for them.

Like last season, Bilibili Gaming look like a serious threat to win the LPL title, and they've yet to produce a game that would make me question their quality. But more importantly, BLG is not the type of team that would get upset by an underdog, which spells problems for EDward Gaming.

Across the first week and a half, EDward Gaming have lost against Royal Never Give Up, Top Espots, and LGD Gaming. They took a map off the RNG, but even that gets overshadowed by their 0-2 loss against LGD Gaming on Tuesday.

It's clear that this iteration of the roster isn't working out and that EDG will have to make some significant changes if they want to be competitive. Admittedly, we're early into the season, so a lot can change, but so far, EDG have given us nothing to feel excited about.
