CTBC Flying Oyster vs Hanwha Life Esports Preview

Both these teams began their First Stand campaign with a routine 2-0 win against their respective opponents. CTBC Flying Oyster beat Karmine Corp on Tuesday while Hanwha thrashed Top Esports 2-0 on Monday.

CTBC needed under 30 minutes to brush past Karmine in the first map as they recorded 15 kills to Karmine’s 7. CTBC only needed marginally longer in the second map to beat Karmine: 22 kills to 9.

Hanwha displayed their dominance over one of the better teams in this competition with a straight-map win. In total, Hanwha needed just over one hour to rack up 37 kills as opposed to Top Esports’ 13.

Welcome Doggo to First Stand! He was simply unstoppable in the bottom lane in their win against Karmine Corp, with nine kills, zero deaths and 5.5 assists per map as he racked up a KDA of 29 with CS per minu8te of 289.5.

JunJia was sensational in the jungle, with 2 kills, 1.5 deaths and 13 assists per game. JunJia flanked the jungle into the path of Doggo as the combination was far too much for Karmine to counter.

Hanwha showed just why they are the top contender for First Stand with a rout of Top Esports. Both Viper (in the bottom lane) and Zeka (in the middle lane) were exceptional, with 5.5 kills per map apiece. With just one death per map, Viper registered a stunning KDA of 14.5.

That KDA was surpassed quite comfortably by Delight, who had 0.5 kills and 0.5 deaths, but also managed 15 assists per map to take his KDA to 31, which is the highest so far in the entire tournament.

Hanwha Life Esports Team News

There isn’t much concerning Hanwha at the moment in any respect of Summoner’s Rift. Even jungler Peanut was exceptional with a KDA of 10.

Verdict

There isn’t much doubt that Hanwha should go on to win this one. The question is whether they will drop a map or not. Even with the class and skill of Doggo and the rest of the Flying Oyster team, that seems implausible at this stage. We’re backing Hanwha to go on and register their second 2-0 win in First Stand.
