Dplus KIA bested DRX 2-1 last time out, but have since not shown any improvement. In fact, Dplus KIA have continued to struggle and have proven very poor in covering map spreads as favourites.

Despite all the quality on this roster, I'm not sold on the idea that Dplus KIA can consistently sweep any team in the LCK. They should win, but this series can turn sour very quickly.

DRX Form

DRX are a bottom-half team, with a 3-9 record, which is not too inspiring. They are on a two-game losing streak ahead of this clash, but in their defence, the two losses came against T1 and Hanwha Life Esports.

Prior to the two defeats, DRX defeated BKN FEARX and OKSavingsBank BRION, so at least they're doing well against other non-top-tier teams.

In most of their games, DRX have been very bloody, which in part has to do with the current meta, where the teams wait for the Baron.

Dplus KIA have hit a bit of a slump, and even that is an understatement. Following a very promising start to the season, Dplus KIA have now lost six games in a row, tanking their record from 5-1 to 5-7; and it is not like they've had to face only good teams over that stretch.

More recently, they've had a mixed schedule, facing Nongshim RedForce (1-2), Gen.G (0-2), KT Rolster (0-2), and T1 (0-2), proving that they have been struggling against both elite and mid-table teams.

As favourites, Dplus KIA have done well and delivered on the moneyline in most of their games. Against the map spread, they've been less consistent.
